writersdigest.com just had the “Shortest Short Story Contest.” The mini story had to be just 140 characters or less.  I entered and didn’t win.  There was only one winner. You can check out the winning story here:

“So you ran away with the circus?” Gus puffed his cigar.

“What else can I do? I gotta face of an angel, and the body of a-”

“A horse.” Gus patted her rump. She swished her tail.
